Here are some of the findings from yesterday, Monday:
I also found some socks, t-shirts, a towel and a bunch of garbage. I actually washed the towels and t-shirts and will use them as cleaning rags around the house.
Today, I found nothing, just a couple of candy wrappers.
The reason for that, is that today I walked to the right of my building which is more secluded, so there are much less people.
To the left of my building there some shops and bathrooms, so there are more people.
Also, it is expected that after the weekend there will be a lot more stuff to be found.
I have so much beach toys now. I was able to give a few away. It feels good to recycle and reuse.

Treasure hunting ♥ Next year are you going to try a metal detector on the beach? It’s not uncommon here as there is a club and they search on the beaches and in the shallow water. It’s pretty cool when someone looses a ring and they call the club to search an area – it often leads to a wonderful happy news item in the paper.

Hi David,
Funny you should ask. I just finished watching a British series called Detectorists. I enjoyed it a lot.
There are a few detectorists searching on this beach. I often stop and talk to John, one of them, about his findings. He has found all kinds of things. But, I will stick to garbage and toys lol.
Blessings!

the bbc program sounds interesting, more reality tv. Good luck with your treasure hunt. hug, Dave

it is funny. It is not reality show.
Now that I have detectorists friends at this beach now, I like the show even more.

That is sad that people don’t take their stuff home. Rubbish is even worse. Toys may drop, but that many in one day ? You are doing a great job here.

Hi Ute,
I don’t really understand somebody leaving things behind.
I guess they were not thought to clean up after themselves.
Thank you and blessings to you!
