Last Christmas Michael upgraded my Huffy bike from Walmart to a Specialized from the local bike shop.
He wanted a different color but the only one available was black, and he wanted to make sure I had it for Christmas.
I love it! Classic and understated 🙂
The difference is amazing, it rides so smooth. I also love the accessories that Michael added: the mirror and the lights. And let’s not forget the bright yellow helmet!

That is a great idea, specially at Christmas time.
At the moment my front light has different modes, including a blinking one, which is the one I use the most.

I keep asking David for a tricycle. Request has been denied. He says it won’t fit in the back of his truck. I think that’s baloney!

I agree with David, but not for the same reason. You are both too young (not a senior yet) and too old (older than a toddler) for tricycle 🙂

You are only a senior when you are eligible to collect Medicare (65)… you many years to go.

And a great sized seat! I don’t care how small or big your behind is, those larger seats are so much more comfortable.
I love your bike. I need to get lights. I had the bike shop add fenders to mine. I didn’t want to risk water, dirt, mud being thrown up on me. We have so much rain in Ohio!

oh yeah, I forgot about that. Those seats are great, but sometimes I will wear a padded bike short a well for extra comfort on longer rides.
I love the lights as I ride in the evenings. I never thought about fenders, but it is a good idea.
I never been to Ohio. It is on my list.

love the new bike. Enjoy adding to your bike, lights are great and I have a wonderful vest I bought in Sweden, it is reflective with a moose on it. At night I wear a led light running or cycling best. It is rechargeable and it’s colourful too!

I do have a reflective belt/sash, but often forget to wear it.

Hi Ana! I had a bicycle before I moved to WA. Sold it. I have balance issues so a trike would be better. I found a really cute one with a large basket so I can take a picnic basket when we go on long bike rides. I get anxious riding a bicycle because I’ve been hit by a car while riding too. Obrigada, tudo bem!

Nice. My bike is one that I get to sit on a chair and ride. Lousy balance makes a regular one impossible to handle these days.

Your bike sounds comfortable. Even with the extra padded seat, my butt still hurts after a long ride.
