I was so blessed this morning to see a turtle returning to sea after laying her eggs.
Every day I have been seeing a lot of different turtle tracks and taking pictures of them. This morning I went to walk a little earlier than usual.
I was at the beach around 6:15am. I wanted to go to walk earlier, but was still dark. It is safe here, but why take chances.
I was rewarded with this beautiful sighting. I am sorry about the shaky video.

Wow! That is amazing to see. The video and the photos. I can add that I a difficult time leaving a comment. When I tried WP logged me out. Well I think I finally succeeded.

Rare sighting indeed. I hope you have reported it so the nest watchers can mark the nest. Very important because it will be at least 70 days before the eggs hatch.

it is my first season here in Florida, but apparently if I wake up early enough I will be seeing them every season.
70 days to hatch? I hope I get to see it.
I didn’t have to report it, as they have students from the university coming around every morning and tagging the spots.
