“Dream your dream; and realize that you are more than just the dreamer, you are the point of origin for its reality.”― Steve Maraboli
I was about to complain of how busy and tired I am, but then I realized how blessed I am at this very moment. I have no right to complain about anything.
Do you remember this post? http://atomic-temporary-33385295.wpcomstaging.com/2014/10/19/heart-i-am-all-ears-and-no-blame-please-talk-to-me/
I will summarize: I was contemplating 1) Taking my mother to Israel for her 80th birthday and 2) upgrading to a 2 bedroom apartment. I was fearful and unsure if I should go ahead and do it. I am normally completely sure of big decisions. The little decisions are the ones that give me trouble. But this time I was somewhat frozen.
I am so incredibly happy to report that at this moment I am painting and moving into my new 2 bedroom apartment. I am totally in love with it. The super of the building told me yesterday: ‘You are going to be very happy here. You have worked hard for it”. I was a little surprised by his comments, because he only knows me for the past 3 years. He doesn’t really know how really hard I have worked in the past. But his words rang true and felt good. I said to myself: I do deserve this!
Five minutes ago I finalized the details of the trip to Israel!! My mother cried with joy. She is so excited to go. I am so excited to be able to afford her this dream. Nothing pleases me more than making my loved ones happy. I will trade anything for my mom and dad’s smile.
“We are designed with a dreaming brain and a hopeful spirit; it is our nature to envision the life of our dreams. And while dreaming comes easy to us, we must never forget that it takes strength, dedication, and courageous action to bring that dream to life”― Steve Maraboli,
The buying of the apartment has been a long and arduous process. I want to tell you guys about it before but I didn’t want to jinx it. I felt that if I talked too much about it somehow things wouldn’t work out. Go figure!
I will write more about the above, but for now I just wanted to shout my happiness from the rooftop.
I want you to celebrate with me as you are a part of it! In my moments of doubt and fear your good thoughts and positive comments helped me stay the course and helped the Universe to conspire and make this apartment and this trip true. My heartfelt thank you!
“You have had a dream for so many years. Let today be the day you make a plan for it. Just think about how much more likely you are to hit your target when you finally aim at it.”― Steve Maraboli

Congrats big time on your new place! You are going to enjoy the extra space and the fact that your hard work got you there. As for the trip to Israel, wonderful! I spent a week there a number of years ago, and it was the most memorable trip of all I have taken. Would love to return!

Just broke it off with a guy I was seeing for a few weeks. Its definitely tough but I feel like his addiction issues and mild depression weren’t managed well and affecting our relationship. Above all though, I didn’t feel like he considered my feelings when it came to important decisions he made and although it was great at times, in the end, I think this is better. Not easy. He’s moving his stuff out today from my place, my first live in boyfriend for a whirlwind seven weeks, but it has taught me to definitely take things slow to see what a guy is really about, past the honeymoon stage, no matter how much he pressures for more.

oh Pink I am so sorry about your break up, but you look like you are handling it wonderfully! It is better to find out issues now than years down the road. It does sound like it was a fast relationship but in matters of the heart it is heart to listen to reason and to wait when everything seems right. I am sure there are a lot lessons here that you will take with you forever. It does sound like you are learning to put yourself first and that is great step. Sending you blessings and many hugs! This too shall pass! One of my favorite Rumi quotes: “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”

Hi Pink I am so glad that you found comfort and encouragement in my comment. You have come a long way and it shows. You show your maturity not in not making a mistake but when in realizing a mistake was made having the courage to correct it. You are beautiful and have so much to offer, there will be a wonderful right guy for you. But in the meantime have fun, get to know people and yourself. And that advice goes to me too. Sometimes I want something so much that I forget to enjoy the moment and end up making mistakes (or should I say learning lessons 🙂 blessings and hugs and thank you for all the love you show my way! 🙂

A great reminder, thank you!! Work has been stressful too and not using all my talents…gonna make some positive changes….thank you for such a beautiful note, i will keep it with me no matter what happens in tomorrows performance review…anything negative can push me into something positive, even rejection is good for me….instead of settling abd complaining, focus on where i wanna be instead….thank you sweet soul! Really needed that today….colleague harassed me and management swept it under the rug….time to move on…

At times of stress at work and in life, I try to count my blessings by the time I get to 5 I am feeling grateful and less stressed. I know how frustrating it can be to feel that all your talents are not being put to use. Use that frustration to impel you to find something else. In the meantime always give 100% of yourself to everything that you do, including a job that you may not be happy with, so that way when you look back you will have no regrets. Putting up with harassment is not easy and you have done the right thing by reporting it. People like that (harassers) inspire pity, they must be so miserable in their lives that they need to harass you. Also it shows that in some way they are threatened by you. Thinking of you and hoping the review went well! The road to the top is not always straight, so we need to learn to deal with the curves! Many blessings! 🙂

Thank you! the Review went well! Some areas for improvement but overall great! Thank you for the well wishes! And you’re right, it was important to put him in his place as he was getting away with such behaviour not only towards me but many others and I think its about time he’s called out on it. 🙂 And I did find out he is pretty miserable and its sad… hugs to you my friend.. hope you’re doing well!

Awesome! There is always room for improvement no matter how perfect one is (plus on those evaluations they always feel they need to point out something to improve even if there is none 🙂 It is never about us. People that feel the need to be mean towards other people are normally hurting and unhappy in their lives – happy are nice! Thank you and nice warm hugs to you too! 🙂 Blessings! 🙂

Please keep up posted on your trip to Israel. It will be great to see the upcoming photos and hear about your trip in detail. If you don’t mind me asking, why Israel? And if you’ve already answered that in another post, please forgive me as I’m a fairly new reader of your blog.
Just wondering … 🙂

My mother always talked about going. She is not that religious, but I am thinking that it does have something to do with spiritual and religious reasons. Also all my Jewish friends tell me I must go. 🙂 Blessings!

Enjoy your new home!!!!! Looking forward to selling our home/farm of 14 years in Kingston, WA and building our last home. We are living in our 5th wheel a big challenge. 🙂

Thank you so much! You have certainly have been living an adventure. I hope that the selling of your home materializes soon, I know that the buying of this one apartment at times seemed never ending so I can only imagine dealing with a farm (I saw the pictures, it is a beautiful property). Sending you blessings and hugs! 🙂

Well it is in GOD’s hands I have no control. Living in the 5th wheel is humbling as if GOD thought I needed more. I try to be humble and grateful every day. Actually easier housework takes 10 minutes when hubby helps. Miss my bed. 🙂 Miss my privacy, miss my dogs have more room and kitties. Sunshine is back and long days so spend more time outside. Love being outside so very much and my animals keep me having a purpose. Our property was sent to us by Jesus Christ we looked for the right land for 3 years and then one day out of the blue a phone call. The property we own never went on the market we purchased it just like that. I know GOD can sell our home not sure what is the hold up. I work very hard to be patient but I am a triple AAA personality I like to get things done when I see a project. Now we wait until GOD says we can build. Hubby and I make jokes it will be like wow we own a couch, a real bed, dishes, more clothes. I miss my flowers, praying the new owner loves to garden and cares for them as I did. Blessings and hugs to you my dear.

I totally understand your frustration. You know God is in control but at the same time it is hard to wait for things to happen, specially when they seem so close and so attainable. Buying this new apartment was an exercise in frustration and patience. I believe in Divine Timing. There is a right timing for everything so I have to always remember that. That bed, that couch, everything will be so much more amazing when you finally get it. Sending you good wishes and blessings for patience, faith and perseverance! 🙂
