I am having issues with my blog. All of a sudden I cannot do my post the old classic way, I have to use Block. I predict some struggles ahead. So please bear with me while I learn and adjust.
These are the beautiful plants in my office. The morning sun here is glorious and the plants love it!
“Love and work are to people what water and sunshine are to plants.”
― Jonathan Haidt, The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”
― Robert Louis Stevenson
“When you see a tiny plant, flower or tree in a dark stone street, be happy as if you saw a friend you love very much, and be even happier because this is such a friend that does wonderful things for your existence, it gives you oxygen!”
― Mehmet Murat ildan

It took me awhile, Ana, but eventually I’ve become to embrace the benefits of the Block editor (i.e. formally known as “Gutenberg”). Stay with it, I promise you’ll eventually come to like it! – Marty

Beautiful, indeed, and also a source of happiness: I recently read about a very large scale study that was conducted to measure what impacts people’s happiness. It included millions and millions of data points and one of their conclusions was that nature brings happiness!
Thank you for sharing that happiness and the wonderful quotes!

Thank you for the compliment and for sharing that study!
I agree! Nature of all kinds and sizes, even tiny plants, can makes us smile. I would invite anyone to plant and see the miracle of seeing something grow.
Blessings to you!

You definitely have a green thumb!
Regarding the block vs classic versions of WordPress, I use a link similar to this one to create blog posts using the classic version:

Hope this helps—

Thank you for sharing!!.. your plants look wonderful!@… unfortunately for me, I do not have enough sunlight in the home to have most plants, do have a few and if I cannot have living plants, I have artificial plants… 🙂
Change is in the winds and I have had to deal with the block system for some time.. what is important is not the cover of the book but the thoughts inside… I am sure in time you will overcome and create the perfect blog… “Any piece of knowledge I acquire today has a value at this moment exactly proportioned to my skill to deal with it. Tomorrow, when I know more, I will recall that piece of knowledge and use it better. “ ( Mark van Doren).. 🙂
Until we meet again..
May your spirit only know peace
May your heart only know love
May all your dreams come true
May your life’s journey be filled with happiness
And life is all that you wish for it to be….

Hi Larry,
I credit the morning sun for my plants to be thriving. They keep growing and growing. Artificial plants are okay also, if they make you smile.
I am back to the classic, but I know I will eventually have to learn the block editor.
I love that quote!!
Thank you and blessings to you!

I liked the classic editor. Why do they have to change things? I cannot see the benefits of the blocks. They are driving me crazy. It takes much longer to write a blog post.
So good luck with the block system.

Thank you, but one of my friends here, Bobbi, mentioned that if you add /wp-admin/post-new.php?action=edit&classic-editor to the end of your blog name you can still use the classic editor. It worked for me.
I know that I will eventually have to learn block editor, but for now I am happy to have classic back.
Blessings to you!

That’s a glorious collection of plants! (I can still use Classic Editor because after titling a blog post, I close that window and then go to my dashboard to:
POSTS
ALL POSTS
and then I select Classic Editor.
Take that, Block Editor!

I still post under Classic. Go to the drop-down menu where it says ‘All Posts’. At ‘Posts’ it has ‘Add New’ with a small arrow beside it. It should give you the option of block or classic. Hit classic. That’s how I continue to post. I hope this helps.
