I got the Liebster Award!!!
My second award! I am getting addicted to this, I mean used to this!( I do have an addictive personality)
I don’t want to seem dumb, but, who is Liebster or what is a Liebster? Was it a typo? perhaps it is Lobster?
As far as I understand, this one is awarded to new blogs that have under 200 followers. ok, I qualify on both counts. Perhaps Liebster is the “keep going, don’t give up” award!
Whatever it means, I feel special getting it! Getting any award is fun!!! Well getting anything is fun, some times even getting a cold can be fun (you know, staying home from work, in bed, watching tv, mom making chicken soup). Thank you http://boomiebol.wordpress.com/ for thinking of me!This should be an easy award to accept and pass it forward, but of course not that easy to this newbie. And here is where my WordPress blog ignorance will really shine: How do I know how many followers a blog has?
So I am going to figure that and then return and update this post.
In the meantime if anyone can give me the answer and save me some time, I will be forever grateful.

Very honest…I was to dumb and excited to ask what leibsyer means lol. I think on the home page of most blogs you will find the number of followers or subscribers. I honestly didn’t do that just picked blogs I follow. Hope this helps and congrats, well deserved.

Congratulations! There is a widget called ‘Follow Blog’ – add this to your visible or active widgets, you can choose to show how many followers you have by checking the box at the bottom of the said widget then click save. Hope this helps. With regards to the meaning of Liebster, it is a German word meaning dearest. Have a great day!

Congratulations! I’m so happy for you. This is fun, this blogging world, isn’t it? As far as how many followers OTHERS have, that’s tricky because they’d have to show it in their widgets. But like another commenter said, just pick ones you like. Have fun!

That is great! its nice when somebody appreciates getting nominated by these blogger awards, unlike some people I know…lol. You can probably guess how many followers they have by seeing how many hits they have. I’m probably gonna guess it will take over 15000 hits to have over 200 followers…lol

Its an honor based system. Nomination is same as award. You just setup your website to display the image and you validate the award by showing where you got it from. So remember nomination=award

ok, then, so far I am the proud winner of 2 awards. I guess we could come up with an award if we wanted to, and started spreading it around. Perhaps could be the “e-Harmony sucks Award” and to qualify all a blog has to do is refer me a date! What do you think?
